About the role

St. John's Hospital was founded in 1174 and today is one of the largest landlords in the city of Bath. It runs two adult care homes and manages an extensive estate of both residential and commercial properties, including some of the prime historical real estate in the City centre.

As Director of Property you will be responsible for the effective, efficient and safe management of the endowment estate to meet the needs of our residents and the strategic objectives of the trustees.

You will be a qualified surveyor and your background is likely to be in general practice with senior management responsibilities and strategic overview.

In addition to the leadership that the role requires, you will also need to bring a keen commercial acumen and strong negotiating skills to ensure that we derive best value from all our contracting arrangements.
